Entering Mauritius For Business

Nationals of most countries do not require a visa prior to travelling to Mauritius for example commonwealth and EU countries. The visitor should hold a passport with a minimum validity of 6 months, a valid return ticket and sufficient funds to meet the costs of stay in Mauritius.

Applications for a visa can be obtained from the Mauritian embassy or consulate. If there is no embassy or consulate in the country, the nearest embassy or at any Air Mauritius office can be contacted.  If there is no Air Mauritius office, application should be made directly to the Passport and Immigration Office in Mauritius by post/fax.

A tourist visa may be issued for up to 180 days per calendar year. A business visa may be issued for up to 90 days per calendar year.
